🍽️ Spiced Cauliflower

Ingredients
- 1.2 kg large cauliflower (1 large cauliflower)
- salt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 piece ginger (2–3 cm)
- 3 tsp curry powder
- 1 level tsp turmeric powder
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp ghee (alternatively clarified butter)
- 10 g coriander (0.5 bunch)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly.
- 2. Break the cauliflower into small florets.
- 3. Bring salted water to a boil.
- 4. Add the florets to the boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes.
- 5. Drain the water.
- 6. Rinse the cauliflower with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 7. Peel the garlic.
- 8. Peel the ginger.
- 9. Finely chop the garlic.
- 10. Finely chop the ginger.
- 11. Mix the chopped ingredients with curry powder.
- 12. Add turmeric to the spice mixture.
- 13. Season the mixture with salt.
- 14. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 15. Heat ghee in a pan.
- 16. Toss the cauliflower with the spice mixture.
- 17. Add the cauliflower to the hot pan.
- 18. Fry the cauliflower for 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat until golden brown.
- 19. Wash the coriander.
- 20. Shake the coriander dry.
- 21. Pluck the coriander leaves.
- 22. Roughly chop the coriander leaves.
- 23. Serve the cauliflower on plates.
- 24. Drizzle the cauliflower with lemon juice.
- 25. Sprinkle the dish with the chopped coriander.
- 26. Serve the cauliflower.
