  2. 2. Wash the figs thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  4. 4. Place the figs flat on the prepared tray.
  5. 5. Slide the tray into the preheated oven.
  6. 6. If you are using multiple trays, stack them on top of each other.
  7. 7. Leave the oven door slightly ajar to allow air to circulate well.
  8. 8. Dry the figs in the oven for several hours.
  9. 9. Check the process regularly and swap the trays if necessary.
  10. 10. Slice the fully dried figs.
  11. 11. Lightly dust the slices with powdered sugar.
  12. 12. Arrange the figs in a small bowl.
