  1. 1. Put cocoa, cinnamon, and the soft dates (2 or 3 pieces, depending on your preference) into a tall cup.
  2. 2. Pour in your chosen plant-based milk.
  3. 3. Blend the mixture with a hand blender until the dates are completely broken down.
  4. 4. Pour the liquid into a saucepan.
  5. 5. Heat the chocolate slowly on the stove.
  6. 6. Pour the hot chocolate into a mug.
  7. 7. Add vegan whipped cream on top as desired.
  8. 8. Sprinkle cocoa nibs (small cocoa pieces) and some cocoa powder over it.
