  1. 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
  2. 2. Cut large tomatoes in half.
  3. 3. Wash the herbs and shake them dry.
  4. 4. Clean the spring onions and wash them.
  5. 5. Cut the spring onions into coarse pieces.
  6. 6. Peel the onions and the garlic.
  7. 7. Cut the onions into bite-sized pieces.
  8. 8. Slice the garlic into thin slices.
  9. 9. Preheat the oven to 220 °C (fan 200 °C or gas mark 3–4).
  10. 10. Place all prepared ingredients into a baking dish.
  11. 11. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  12. 12. Drizzle everything with olive oil.
  13. 13. Braise the tomatoes in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  14. 14. Take the baking dish out of the oven.
  15. 15. Serve the dish immediately.
