  2. 2. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Season the thighs generously with salt and coarsely ground pepper.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a casserole pot.
  5. 5. Fry the chicken thighs on all sides until golden brown.
  6. 6. Deglaze the meat with wine.
  7. 7. Cover the pot and let the meat cook on low heat for about 30 minutes.
  8. 8. Rinse the apples under running water.
  9. 9. Cut the apples in half lengthwise.
  10. 10. Remove the core from the apple halves.
  11. 11. Cut the apple halves into thin wedges.
  12. 12. Heat butter and honey in a separate pan.
  13. 13. Let the mixture caramelize slightly.
