🍽️ Shaved Spätzle

Ingredients
- 400 g flour
- salt
- 4 eggs
- nutmeg
- 200 ml milk
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- 1. Fill a large pot with water and add plenty of salt. Bring the water to a boil.
- 2. Add flour, eggs, nutmeg, milk, and a little salt to a bowl. Quickly mix the ingredients into a firm dough.
- 3. Wet a cutting board and a knife with water. Hold the knife over the boiling salted water and scrape small pieces of dough directly into the water.
- 4. Let the spaetzle simmer in the water for a few minutes. They are done when they float to the surface.
- 5. Remove the spaetzle from the water using a slotted spoon. Let them drain briefly.
- 6. Toss the spaetzle in melted butter until they are nicely coated.
