  2. 2. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them into rough pieces.
  3. 3. Cut the white bread into small cubes.
  4. 4. Rinse the tomatoes under running water.
  5. 5. Cut the washed tomatoes in half.
  6. 6. Wash the basil leaves and shake off excess water.
  7. 7. Slice the basil leaves into thin strips.
  8. 8. Grease a baking sheet with some butter and olive oil.
  9. 9. Place the chopped garlic, bread cubes, tomato halves, and olives on the prepared baking sheet.
  10. 10. Season the ingredients with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. 11. Place the tray into the preheated oven.
  12. 12. Bake the mixture for about 20 minutes.
  13. 13. Turn the bread cubes occasionally during baking so they turn golden brown evenly.
  14. 14. Remove the baking sheet from the oven after the baking time.
  15. 15. Mix the warm bread cubes with the sliced basil strips.
  16. 16. Divide the mixture into small bowls.
