🍽️ Oven-Baked Bread Cubes with Tomato, Garlic, and Basil

Ingredients
- 8 garlic cloves
- 12 slices white bread
- 300 g cherry tomatoes
- 200 g black olives (pitted)
- 1 handful basil
- 50 g melted butter
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 2. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them into rough pieces.
- 3. Cut the white bread into small cubes.
- 4. Rinse the tomatoes under running water.
- 5. Cut the washed tomatoes in half.
- 6. Wash the basil leaves and shake off excess water.
- 7. Slice the basil leaves into thin strips.
- 8. Grease a baking sheet with some butter and olive oil.
- 9. Place the chopped garlic, bread cubes, tomato halves, and olives on the prepared baking sheet.
- 10. Season the ingredients with salt and pepper to taste.
- 11. Place the tray into the preheated oven.
- 12. Bake the mixture for about 20 minutes.
- 13. Turn the bread cubes occasionally during baking so they turn golden brown evenly.
- 14. Remove the baking sheet from the oven after the baking time.
- 15. Mix the warm bread cubes with the sliced basil strips.
- 16. Divide the mixture into small bowls.
- 17. Serve the dish immediately to keep the bread cubes crispy.
