🍳 Toasted Bread Rounds with Salmon Cream

Ingredients
- 1 small baguette
- 30 g butter
- 200 g smoked salmon
- 75 g whipping cream and sour cream each
- juice of half a lemon
- salt, pepper from the mill
- a few sprigs of basil
Instructions
- 1. Slice the baguette into thin rounds.
- 2. Melt the butter in a small pot.
- 3. Brush the bread slices with the melted butter.
- 4. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 5. Preheat your oven's grill function.
- 6. Toast the bread rounds under the grill until lightly browned on both sides.
- 7. Remove the bread rounds from the oven and let them cool.
- 8. Dice the smoked salmon into small pieces.
- 9. Add the diced salmon, whipping cream, sour cream, and lemon juice to a blender or bowl.
- 10. Blend the mixture until smooth.
- 11. Season the salmon cream with salt and pepper to taste.
- 12. Spread the salmon cream generously over the cooled bread rounds.
- 13. Garnish the toasts with fresh basil leaves.
- 14. Plate the toasts and serve.
