Ingredients
- 1 ripe mango
- 1 white onion
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- salt
- white pepper
- 1 tbsp grape seed oil
- 250 g smoked salmon (in thin slices)
- 2 tsp capers (pickled and drained)
- cilantro (for garnish)
- coconut flakes (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the mango and carefully cut the flesh away from the pit.
- 2. Cut the mango flesh into thin slices.
- 3. Peel the onion and cut it into thin strips or rings.
- 4. Whisk the lime juice with salt, white pepper, and oil in a small bowl.
- 5. Place a few mango slices on a plate.
- 6. Cover the mango slices with slices of smoked salmon.
- 7. Optionally fold the salmon into decorative rolls.
- 8. Sprinkle the chopped onions and capers over the salmon.
- 9. Drizzle the prepared lime marinade over the dish.
- 10. Garnish the plate with fresh coriander and coconut flakes.
