  3. 3. Bring water to a boil and add some salt.
  4. 4. Boil the beans in the salted water for about 3 minutes.
  5. 5. Drain the beans and let them drip dry.
  6. 6. Peel the onion.
  7. 7. Halve the onion lengthwise.
  8. 8. Cut the onion halves into thin strips.
  9. 9. Peel the carrot.
  10. 10. Cut the carrot into small pieces.
  11. 11. Peel the potatoes.
  12. 12. Cut the potatoes into cubes.
  13. 13. Peel the kohlrabi.
  14. 14. Cut the kohlrabi into short batons.
  15. 15. Heat oil in a pot.
  16. 16. Sauté the onions until translucent.
  17. 17. Add the chopped vegetables and garlic.
  18. 18. Sauté the mixture briefly.
