  2. 2. Wash the spring onions and slice them into thin rings.
  3. 3. Wash the thyme sprigs and pat them dry.
  4. 4. Add the kohlrabi, spring onions, and thyme to a pot with the broth.
  5. 5. Let the mixture simmer gently for 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Wash the zucchini and cut it into cubes or thin slices.
  7. 7. Peel the carrots and dice them finely.
  8. 8. Add the zucchini and carrots, along with the peas and pasta, to the broth.
  9. 9. Cook everything for another 8 minutes.
  10. 10. Remove the thyme sprigs from the soup.
  11. 11. Season the soup with salt to taste.
  12. 12. Cut the ham into small cubes.
  13. 13. Warm the ham cubes in the hot vegetable soup.
  14. 14. Divide the soup among small bowls.
  15. 15. Place toasted baguette slices on top of the soup.
  16. 16. Add a dollop of ricotta and grated parmesan to each bowl.
