🍽️ Grilled Vegetable Skewers with Spicy Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 zucchini
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 2 red onions
- 400 g tofu (plain)
- olive oil (for brushing)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- sweet and sour chili sauce (for serving)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the vegetables thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Remove the hard stems and leaves from the zucchini.
- 3. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise.
- 4. Slice the zucchini halves into thin rounds.
- 5. Remove the seeds and white inner membranes from the bell peppers.
- 6. Cut the bell peppers into pieces approximately 2 centimeters in size.
- 7. Peel the onions completely.
- 8. Cut the onions into wedges.
- 9. Cut the tofu into cubes with sides of about 1 centimeter.
- 10. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- 11. Thread the vegetable pieces and tofu cubes onto the wooden skewers in an alternating pattern.
- 12. Brush the skewers generously with olive oil.
- 13. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 14. Grill the skewers on all sides for 5 to 8 minutes.
- 15. Season the skewers to taste with salt and pepper.
- 16. Serve the skewers with sweet and sour chili sauce.
