🍰 Vegetable salad in small pastry boats

Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 50 g lard
- 3 tbsp lukewarm water
- 250 g mixed vegetables (e.g. carrots, celery, kohlrabi, zucchini... )
- 150 g mayonnaise
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- herb leaf
Instructions
- 1. Put flour, salt, and lard into a bowl. Add water little by little as needed, and quickly knead the dough into a smooth ball. Let the dough rest in a cool place for 30 minutes.
- 2. Roll out the dough and line small boat-shaped molds with it. Prick the bottom several times with a fork. Bake the boats in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes until golden yellow.
- 3. Wash and clean the vegetables and cut them into very small cubes. Mix the cubes with mayonnaise. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- 4. Fill the finished boats with the vegetable salad. Garnish them with fresh herbs for serving.
