🍽️ Creamy stew with potatoes, kohlrabi and onions

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 l meat broth
- 1 bunch carrots
- 400 g potatoes
- 2 kohlrabi
- 2 red onions
- 150 g streaky bacon
- 2 pairs Vienna sausages
- 0.333 l whipping cream
- 1 bunch parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions and slice them into rings.
- 2. Peel the potatoes, carrots, and kohlrabi.
- 3. Cut the peeled vegetables into small cubes.
- 4. Heat the butter in a large pot.
- 5. Sauté the onion rings until they become translucent.
- 6. Add the remaining vegetables to the pot.
- 7. Sauté the vegetables briefly.
- 8. Pour in the broth.
- 9. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 10. Reduce the heat.
- 11. Season the dish generously with salt and pepper.
- 12. Let the stew simmer gently for 30 to 40 minutes.
- 13. Cut the bacon into small cubes.
- 14. Render the bacon in a frying pan.
- 15. Add the bacon to the vegetables.
- 16. Stir in the cream.
- 17. Let the soup boil briefly again.
- 18. Remove the pot from the stove.
- 19. Warm the sausages in the stew.
- 20. Fill the stew into a soup bowl.
- 21. Sprinkle the dish with parsley.
- 22. Serve the stew hot.
