  3. 3. Place the butter and the onion cubes in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. 4. Cover the bowl and sauté the onions at 850 watts for about 4 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the potato cubes, the curry powder, and the broth to the onion mixture.
  6. 6. Stir everything well, cover the bowl again, and cook the mixture at 850 watts for about 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Add the cream and the peas.
  8. 8. Cover the bowl and cook the curry at 850 watts for another 10 minutes.
  9. 9. Reduce the power to 450 watts and cook the dish for another 5 minutes.
  10. 10. Finally, season the curry with salt and pepper to taste.
