🍽️ Crispy Vegetable Balls

Ingredients
- 250 g cauliflower
- 450 g potatoes
- 150 g chickpea flour
- 26 stalks cilantro
- 1 tsp garam masala (Indian spice mix)
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- 300 ml oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cauliflower and remove the tough stems.
- 2. Cut the cauliflower into small pieces.
- 3. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 4. Peel the potatoes.
- 5. Cut the potatoes into four equal quarters.
- 6. Cook the cauliflower and potatoes together in boiling water.
- 7. Let the vegetables cook for 15 minutes.
- 8. Remove the vegetables from the water and let them drain briefly.
- 9. Press the warm vegetables through a potato ricer.
- 10. Place the pressed mixture into a large bowl.
- 11. Wash the coriander leaves and dry them.
- 12. Finely chop the coriander leaves.
- 13. Add the chopped coriander to the vegetable mixture.
- 14. Add the chickpea flour to the bowl.
- 15. Sprinkle the Garam Masala spice over the mixture.
- 16. Season with black pepper.
- 17. Salt the mixture to taste.
- 18. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together.
- 19. Shape the mixture into 20 to 24 small balls.
- 20. Place the finished balls onto a plate.
- 21. Pour oil into a pot.
- 22. Heat the oil until it is very hot.
- 23. Add the vegetable balls to the hot oil in batches.
- 24. Fry the balls until they are golden yellow.
- 25. Remove the balls from the oil.
- 26. Place the balls on kitchen paper.
- 27. Let the excess oil drain off.
