  1. 1. Wash the cauliflower and remove the tough stems.
  2. 2. Cut the cauliflower into small pieces.
  3. 3. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
  4. 4. Peel the potatoes.
  5. 5. Cut the potatoes into four equal quarters.
  6. 6. Cook the cauliflower and potatoes together in boiling water.
  7. 7. Let the vegetables cook for 15 minutes.
  8. 8. Remove the vegetables from the water and let them drain briefly.
  9. 9. Press the warm vegetables through a potato ricer.
  10. 10. Place the pressed mixture into a large bowl.
  11. 11. Wash the coriander leaves and dry them.
  12. 12. Finely chop the coriander leaves.
  13. 13. Add the chopped coriander to the vegetable mixture.
  14. 14. Add the chickpea flour to the bowl.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the Garam Masala spice over the mixture.
  16. 16. Season with black pepper.
  17. 17. Salt the mixture to taste.
  18. 18. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together.
  19. 19. Shape the mixture into 20 to 24 small balls.
  20. 20. Place the finished balls onto a plate.
  21. 21. Pour oil into a pot.
  22. 22. Heat the oil until it is very hot.
  23. 23. Add the vegetable balls to the hot oil in batches.
  24. 24. Fry the balls until they are golden yellow.
  25. 25. Remove the balls from the oil.
  26. 26. Place the balls on kitchen paper.
  27. 27. Let the excess oil drain off.
