Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 200 ml water
- salt
- 1 red chili pepper (finely chopped)
- 600 g mixed vegetables (e.g. broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, zucchini)
- oil (for the deep fryer)
- lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Mix 100 grams of flour with the egg, the egg yolk, some water, salt, and chili until you have a smooth dough. Let the dough rest for a moment to swell.
- 2. Set up the deep fryer and preheat it to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 3. Coat the vegetables first in the remaining flour and then pass them through the dough. Immediately fry the balls in the deep fryer until golden yellow. Let them drain and drizzle them with lemon juice. Serve the vegetable balls with wooden skewers as you like.
