🍽️ Vegetable Wok with Shrimp

Ingredients
- bell peppers (1 red and 1 yellow each)
- 400 g small broccoli florets
- 1 bunch spring onions
- 300 g green asparagus
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce (Asian market)
- soy sauce
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 300 g shrimp (ready for cooking)
- cilantro
Instructions
- 1. Wash the bell pepper thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the inside of the bell pepper.
- 3. Cut the bell pepper into strips.
- 4. Wash the broccoli florets.
- 5. Divide the broccoli florets into smaller pieces.
- 6. Peel the broccoli stems.
- 7. Chop the broccoli stems finely.
- 8. Wash the asparagus.
- 9. Trim the hard ends from the asparagus.
- 10. Cut the asparagus into pieces.
- 11. Wash the spring onions.
- 12. Remove the tips of the spring onions.
- 13. Finely chop the white and light green parts of the spring onions.
- 14. Heat 1 tbsp of sesame oil in a wok or a large pan.
- 15. Fry the shrimp all around for about 3 minutes.
- 16. Remove the shrimp from the pan.
- 17. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- 18. Keep the shrimp warm.
- 19. Heat a little more sesame oil in the pan.
- 20. Add the broccoli stems and the bell pepper to the pan.
- 21. Fry the vegetables while stirring.
- 22. Add the asparagus and the broccoli florets.
- 23. Continue to fry the vegetables while stirring.
- 24. Add the spring onions.
- 25. Continue to fry the vegetables while stirring.
- 26. Add more sesame oil as needed.
- 27. Season the vegetables with oyster sauce.
- 28. Add a little soy sauce.
- 29. Add the shrimp back to the pan.
- 30. Heat everything through.
- 31. Garnish the dish with coriander leaves.
- 32. Serve the dish.
