🍕 Vegetable Pizza

Ingredients
- 20 g fresh yeast (0.5 cube)
- 1 pinch sugar
- 450 g flour
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 200 g peeled canned tomatoes
- salt
- black pepper
- 0.5 tsp dried oregano
- 1 small green bell pepper
- 1 shallot
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 small chili pepper
- 1 large beefsteak tomato
- 200 g mozzarella
- 50 g canned corn
- 3 large mushrooms
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 tsp chopped rosemary
Instructions
- 1. Mix the yeast with just under 100 ml of lukewarm water and the sugar. Stir the mixture until smooth and everything has dissolved.
- 2. Add the flour, oil, and salt to a mixing bowl. Add the dissolved yeast mixture.
- 3. Knead everything with the dough hooks of an electric hand mixer into a smooth dough. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for approx. 40-45 minutes.
- 4. Wash the bell pepper, remove the stem and seeds. Cut the bell pepper flesh into strips.
- 5. Peel the shallot and garlic. Finely chop both.
- 6. Wash the chili pepper, remove the stem and seeds. Finely chop the chili pepper as well.
- 7. Wash the plum tomato, remove the seeds. Cut the tomato flesh into small cubes.
- 8. Clean the mushrooms. Slice them into thin pieces.
- 9. Drain the corn in a sieve.
- 10. Slice the mozzarella into thin pieces.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 220 °C (top and bottom heat).
- 12. Sprinkle some flour on the work surface. Roll out the dough into a round shape.
- 13. Grease a baking sheet. Place the rolled-out dough on it.
- 14. Drain the peeled tomatoes. Mash them with a fork.
- 15. Spread the mashed tomatoes over the pizza dough. Leave a small border free at the edge.
- 16. Season the tomato sauce with salt and pepper.
- 17. Sprinkle oregano over the sauce.
- 18. Top the pizza with the prepared vegetables (bell pepper, shallot, garlic, chili, tomato, mushrooms, corn).
- 19. Distribute the mozzarella slices evenly on top.
- 20. Drizzle the pizza with olive oil.
- 21. Sprinkle fresh rosemary needles over it.
- 22. Bake the vegetable pizza in the preheated oven for approx. 15 minutes.
