🍽️ Crunchy Vegetables with Creamy Quark Dip

Ingredients
- 500 g cucumber
- 300 g snow peas
- or fresh vegetables to your liking!)
- 200 g low-fat quark
- 100 g sour cream
- 1 tbsp crème fraîche
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tsp chopped thyme leaves
- 1 untreated lemon (finest strips of the peel)
- thyme sprig
Instructions
- 1. Peel the cucumbers completely.
- 2. Cut the peeled cucumbers lengthwise into two halves.
- 3. Remove the inside of the cucumber halves using a sharp spoon.
- 4. Cut the empty cucumber halves into sticks that are about finger-length and finger-thick.
- 5. Wash the snow peas thoroughly.
- 6. Dry the snow peas with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Whisk the low-fat quark, sour cream, lemon juice, and crème fraîche in a bowl until the mixture is smooth.
- 8. Season the dip with salt and pepper to taste.
- 9. Stir the thyme leaves into the finished dip.
- 10. Arrange the prepared vegetables in small bowls.
- 11. Add the quark dip to the bowls.
- 12. Garnish the dip with lemon strips and fresh thyme sprigs.
