  1. 1. Peel the onion and cut it into fine cubes.
  2. 2. Take half of the onion cubes and add them to a bowl with the minced meat and the egg and the oats.
  3. 3. Season the meat mixture with salt, pepper, cumin and paprika powder.
  4. 4. Knead everything well and form four equal-sized meatballs from it.
  5. 5. Heat one teaspoon of oil in a frying pan.
  6. 6. Fry the meatballs at medium heat for seven minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. 7. Wash the zucchini, the carrots and the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes.
  8. 8. Heat the remaining oil in a pot.
  9. 9. Add the remaining onion, the zucchini, the carrots and the tomatoes to the pot.
  10. 10. Stew the vegetables at medium heat for five minutes until soft.
  11. 11. Pour the couscous with hot broth.
  12. 12. Let the couscous swell for five minutes covered.
  13. 13. Fluff the couscous with a fork.
  14. 14. Mix the couscous with the stewed vegetables.
  15. 15. Season the couscous vegetable mixture with chili, salt and pepper.
  16. 16. Serve the meatballs together with the vegetable couscous.
