  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the bell pepper.
  2. 2. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell pepper.
  3. 3. Cut the bell pepper into quarters.
  4. 4. Cut the bell pepper quarters into bite-sized pieces.
  5. 5. Peel the carrots.
  6. 6. Leave a small part of the green top attached to four of the carrots.
  7. 7. Set aside these four carrots with the green tops for decoration.
  8. 8. Chop the remaining carrots into small pieces.
  9. 9. Place the bell pepper pieces into the blender.
  10. 10. Add the chopped carrots to the blender.
  11. 11. Pour the buttermilk into the blender.
  12. 12. Add the lemon juice to the blender.
  13. 13. Blend all ingredients in the mixer until smooth.
  14. 14. Season the shake with salt to taste.
  15. 15. Season the shake with cayenne pepper to taste.
  16. 16. Pour the shake into glasses.
  17. 17. Garnish each glass rim with one of the prepared carrots with green tops.
  18. 18. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the shake.
  19. 19. Serve the shake immediately.
