🍽️ Oven-baked vegetables on bread

Ingredients
- 300 g Savoy cabbage
- 250 g cauliflower
- 1 stalk leek
- 100 g snow peas
- 100 g beans
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp butter
- 80 ml olive oil
- 250 ml meat broth
- 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
- 1 bunch parsley
- 300 g country bread (dry, thin slices)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the vegetables thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the savoy cabbage into wide strips.
- 3. Divide the cauliflower into small florets.
- 4. Slice the leek into rings.
- 5. Chop the sugar peas and beans into smaller pieces.
- 6. Dice the tomatoes.
- 7. Peel the onion and dice it roughly.
- 8. Peel the garlic.
- 9. Slice the garlic into thin pieces.
- 10. Heat the butter and half of the olive oil in a pot.
- 11. Sauté the onion, leek, and garlic in it.
- 12. Add the diced tomatoes.
- 13. Let the mixture reduce over low heat.
- 14. Add the savoy cabbage and beans.
- 15. Simmer the ingredients briefly.
- 16. Pour in the meat broth.
- 17. Add the remaining vegetables.
- 18. Add the paprika powder.
- 19. Let everything simmer for 10 minutes.
- 20. Pour the remaining olive oil into a wide clay pot.
- 21. Swirl the pot so the oil coats the entire surface.
- 22. Line the pot with the bread slices.
- 23. Place the vegetables on top of the bread.
- 24. Sprinkle everything with parsley.
- 25. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 26. Place the pot in the center of the oven.
- 27. Bake the dish for about 10 minutes.
