  4. 4. Slice the leek into thin rings.
  5. 5. Wash the bell pepper and remove the inside.
  6. 6. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
  7. 7. Peel the onion and dice it finely.
  8. 8. Heat the oil in a large pot.
  9. 9. Sauté the onions in the hot oil until they are translucent.
  10. 10. Deglaze the onions with the broth.
  11. 11. Add the green beans, leek, and bell pepper to the pot.
  12. 12. Let the stew simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
  13. 13. Rinse the white beans under cold water in a sieve.
  14. 14. Add the white beans to the stew.
  15. 15. Wash the basil and pluck the leaves off the stems.
