- 2. Twist the claws off the lobster's body.
- 3. Cut off the lower segments of the claws at the joint.
- 4. Bend the small upper claw finger backward.
- 5. Pull off the bent claw finger.
- 6. Chop into the shell of the large claw with a heavy knife.
- 7. Chop all around the shell until it breaks.
- 8. Break apart the cracked shell.
- 9. Peel the remaining shell off the claw.
- 10. Gently loosen the meat inside the claw.
- 11. Pull the claw meat out of the shell.
- 12. Position the knife behind the lobster's head.
- 13. Split the lobster tail into two halves.
- 14. Turn the lobster around.
- 15. Split the lobster's head into two halves as well.
- 16. Pull out the vein with your fingers.
