🍽️ Classic Stuffed Eggs with Salmon and Caviar

Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 1 tbsp cream horseradish (jar)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp chive rings
- 50 g caviar
- 75 g smoked salmon
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- lemon zest (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Carefully cut off the top third of the hard-boiled eggs.
- 2. Remove the egg yolks and place them in a bowl.
- 3. Remove small shell fragments from the empty egg halves.
- 4. Rinse the empty egg halves briefly.
- 5. Grate the horseradish finely.
- 6. Mix the grated horseradish with the egg yolks.
- 7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 8. Melt the butter in a pan.
- 9. Add the egg mixture to the hot pan.
- 10. Stir the mixture until it thickens.
- 11. Remove the mixture from the pan.
- 12. Let the mixture cool and stir it occasionally.
- 13. Set aside a few rings of chives for decoration.
- 14. Mix the cooled egg mixture with two tablespoons of sour cream.
- 15. Fold the remaining chives into the mixture.
- 16. Fill the mixture into the prepared eggshells.
- 17. Spread the remaining sour cream on half of the stuffed eggs.
- 18. Place caviar and the saved chive rings on this half.
- 19. Place chopped salmon on the other half of the eggs.
- 20. Garnish the salmon eggs with lemon zest.
- 21. Serve the eggs.
