🍽️ Grilled tuna steak with rice and lime

Ingredients
- 200 g wild rice mix
- salt
- 4 tuna steaks à approx. 160 g (very fresh)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- sea salt
- lime zest (for serving)
- pink peppercorns
- coriander leaves (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Cook the rice in salted water until tender. Follow the instructions on the package.
- 2. Rinse the tuna under running water.
- 3. Pat the fish dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Peel the garlic clove.
- 5. Finely chop the garlic.
- 6. Crush the coriander seeds in a mortar until they form a fine paste.
- 7. Mix the crushed coriander with the chopped garlic and the oil.
- 8. Brush the tuna steaks generously with this garlic-coriander mixture.
- 9. Place the steaks on the hot grill.
- 10. Grill the tuna steaks for 4 to 5 minutes.
- 11. Decide on your preferred doneness: For a rare center, grill for only 2 to 3 minutes.
- 12. Season the grilled steaks with salt to taste.
- 13. Cut the lime into thin slices or wedges.
- 14. Serve the rice on the plates.
- 15. Place the grilled tuna steaks next to the rice.
- 16. Garnish the dish with lime slices.
- 17. Sprinkle pink peppercorns over the meat.
- 18. Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves over the dish.
- 19. Serve the meal immediately while warm.
