Ingredients
- 1 chicken
- salt
- paprika powder (or poultry seasoning)
- parsley
- olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Mix one tablespoon of oil with paprika powder or poultry seasoning.
- 2. Brush the top side of the chicken halves with the oil-paprika mixture.
- 3. Season the inside of the chicken halves with salt and paprika powder.
- 4. Place fresh parsley inside the cavity of the chicken.
- 5. Place the chicken halves cut-side down on a sheet of aluminum foil.
- 6. Wrap the chicken securely but not too tightly in the foil.
- 7. Place the foil packets on the glowing charcoal.
- 8. Grill the chicken for 35 to 45 minutes.
- 9. Ensure the grill grate is positioned directly over the hot embers if you are using a grate.
- 10. Alternatively, place the packets in a dry pan if you are using a camping stove.
- 11. Fry the chicken over medium heat in the pan.
