  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  2. 2. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and remove the seeds.
  3. 3. Toss the tomato pieces with four tablespoons of olive oil.
  4. 4. Place the tomatoes on a baking sheet.
  5. 5. Lightly dust the tomatoes with powdered sugar.
  6. 6. Place the tray in the oven for one and a half hours.
  7. 7. Turn the tomatoes occasionally and add a little more powdered sugar.
  8. 8. Remove the tomatoes from the oven and let them cool down.
  9. 9. Save four of the tomato pieces for later.
  10. 10. Dice the rest of the tomatoes finely.
  11. 11. Peel the bottom third of the asparagus stalks.
  12. 12. Slice one asparagus stalk lengthwise into thin strips.
  13. 13. Halve the remaining asparagus.
  14. 14. Season the asparagus with salt and pepper.
  15. 15. Drizzle the asparagus with two tablespoons of olive oil.
  16. 16. Grill the asparagus on the grill.
