🍽️ Grilled Zucchini and Prawn Skewers

Ingredients
- 500 g Shrimp (frozen, peeled)
- 1 Zucchini
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- sea salt
- white pepper (from the mill)
- 1 unwaxed lemon
- wooden skewer
- oil (for the grill grate)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 2. Press the garlic through a garlic press.
- 3. Mix the garlic with the olive oil in a small bowl.
- 4. Let the prawns thaw at room temperature.
- 5. Take a small, sharp knife.
- 6. Make a shallow cut along the back of the prawn meat.
- 7. Cut deep enough until you see the black intestinal tract.
- 8. Carefully remove the tract with the tip of the knife.
- 9. Rinse the prawns under cold water.
- 10. Pat the prawns dry with kitchen paper.
- 11. Wash the zucchini thoroughly.
- 12. Slice the zucchini into thin, round slices.
- 13. Thread one prawn and one zucchini slice alternately onto a wooden skewer.
- 14. Repeat this until all ingredients are on the skewers.
- 15. Brush the skewers with the garlic-oil mixture.
- 16. Season the skewers with salt and pepper.
- 17. Brush the grill grate with some oil to prevent sticking.
- 18. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 19. Grill the skewers over medium heat.
- 20. Grill each side for about five minutes.
- 21. Brush the skewers again with garlic oil several times during grilling.
- 22. Remove the skewers from the grill when they are cooked.
- 23. Serve the skewers with fresh lemon wedges.
