  5. 5. Season with half a teaspoon of caraway seeds, pepper, and salt.
  6. 6. Pour in the white wine gradually.
  7. 7. Simmer the sauerkraut over medium heat for about 30 minutes in an open pot.
  8. 8. Wait until the liquid has almost completely evaporated.
  9. 9. Heat one teaspoon of ghee in a grill pan.
  10. 10. Fry the sausages over medium heat for about 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown.
  11. 11. Serve the grilled sausages on pre-warmed plates with the sauerkraut.
  12. 12. Serve the dish with a dollop of sharp mustard.
