Ingredients
- 4 stalks lemongrass
- 15 g ginger (1 piece)
- 1 organic lime
- 1 tbsp liquid honey
- 100 g small carambolas (1 small carambola)
- 8 physalis
- 200 g papaya (0.5 papayas)
- 100 g fresh pineapple
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the lemongrass.
- 2. Remove the dry outer leaves.
- 3. Cut the stalks in half lengthwise.
- 4. Peel the ginger.
- 5. Grate the ginger finely.
- 6. Rinse the lime under hot water.
- 7. Dry the lime.
- 8. Use a zester to remove very thin strips of the peel.
- 9. Cut the lime in half.
- 10. Squeeze the lime juice.
- 11. Put the juice into a small bowl.
- 12. Add the grated ginger.
- 13. Add the honey.
- 14. Stir the mixture well.
- 15. Wash the carambolas.
- 16. Dry the carambolas with a cloth.
- 17. Slice the carambolas.
- 18. Remove the physalis from their husks.
- 19. Wash the physalis.
- 20. Dry the physalis.
- 21. Cut the pineapple into bite-sized pieces.
- 22. Take half a papaya.
- 23. Remove the seeds with a tablespoon.
- 24. Peel the papaya.
- 25. Cut the papaya into bite-sized pieces.
- 26. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 27. Thread the fruits alternately onto the lemongrass skewers.
- 28. Brush the skewers with the lime-honey mixture.
- 29. Place the skewers on the baking tray.
- 30. Preheat the oven to the grill function.
- 31. Grill the fruit skewers for 5 to 8 minutes.
- 32. Turn the skewers once.
- 33. Grill until the fruit edges are light brown.
- 34. Sprinkle the lime peel strips over them.
- 35. Serve the skewers immediately.
