  1. 1. Rinse the fresh herbs under running water.
  2. 2. Shake the herbs dry and then chop them finely.
  3. 3. Place the piece of beef tenderloin flat on your work surface.
  4. 4. Season the meat side on both sides with salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Place the ham slices evenly over the meat.
  6. 6. Spread the chopped herbs evenly over the ham layer.
  7. 7. Distribute the grated mountain cheese evenly over the herbs.
  8. 8. Roll the beef tenderloin tightly inwards from the short side.
  9. 9. Cut the roll into slices approximately 3 centimeters thick.
  10. 10. Take kitchen twine and moisten it briefly with water.
  11. 11. Wrap the twine tightly around each individual roll.
  12. 12. Insert a skewer for grill skewers through each roll to secure it.
  13. 13. Brush the surface of the rolls with some oil.
  14. 14. Place the rolls on the preheated hot grill.
  15. 15. Grill the rolls for about 4 to 5 minutes from each side.
