🍽️ Grilled Beef Tenderloin Rolls with Cheese and Herbs

Ingredients
- 2 handfuls herbs (e.g. thyme, rosemary, oregano; parsley)
- 900 g beef tenderloin (flattened by the butcher)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 10 slices Parma ham
- 200 g Alpine cheese (sliced)
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fresh herbs under running water.
- 2. Shake the herbs dry and then chop them finely.
- 3. Place the piece of beef tenderloin flat on your work surface.
- 4. Season the meat side on both sides with salt and pepper.
- 5. Place the ham slices evenly over the meat.
- 6. Spread the chopped herbs evenly over the ham layer.
- 7. Distribute the grated mountain cheese evenly over the herbs.
- 8. Roll the beef tenderloin tightly inwards from the short side.
- 9. Cut the roll into slices approximately 3 centimeters thick.
- 10. Take kitchen twine and moisten it briefly with water.
- 11. Wrap the twine tightly around each individual roll.
- 12. Insert a skewer for grill skewers through each roll to secure it.
- 13. Brush the surface of the rolls with some oil.
- 14. Place the rolls on the preheated hot grill.
- 15. Grill the rolls for about 4 to 5 minutes from each side.
