🍽️ Grilled Swordfish Skewers

Ingredients
- 1 shallot
- 3 garlic cloves
- juice of one lemon
- 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
- 125 ml olive oil
- 3 bay leaves
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 swordfish
- 2 green bell peppers
- 2 onions
- 3 tomatoes
Instructions
- 1. Peel the shallot and the garlic clove. Finely chop the shallot and press the garlic through a press.
- 2. Now mix all the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl until well combined.
- 3. Cut the swordfish into cubes about 3 cm in size. Let the fish pieces marinate in the marinade for about 2 hours.
- 4. Peel the onions and cut them lengthwise into wedges.
- 5. Wash the bell pepper, remove the stem and the inside, halve it, remove all white inner membranes, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- 6. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem area, core them, and cut them into quarters.
- 7. Thread the swordfish pieces alternately with the vegetables onto the skewers. Grill them on the hot grill for about 8 minutes, turning them often and brushing them regularly with the marinade.
