🍽️ Juicy Pork Fillets in Orange-Chili Marinade

Ingredients
- 1 organic orange
- 2 red chili peppers
- 0.5 lime
- 2 tbsp oil (+ oil for the grill)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste (15 g each)
- 1.2 kg pork fillet ready for cooking (2 pork fillets ready for cooking)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the orange thoroughly and pat it dry.
- 2. Finely grate the orange peel to capture the fruit's aroma.
- 3. Squeeze the orange to extract the juice.
- 4. Cut the chili peppers in half lengthwise.
- 5. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers.
- 6. Rinse the deseeded chili peppers.
- 7. Finely chop the chili peppers.
- 8. Squeeze the lime to obtain its juice.
- 9. Mix the orange zest, orange juice, chili, lime juice, one tablespoon of oil, and tomato paste in a bowl.
- 10. Pour the finished marinade into a resealable freezer bag.
- 11. Pat the pork fillets dry with kitchen paper.
- 12. Place the pork fillets into the freezer bag with the marinade.
- 13. Seal the bag tightly.
- 14. Shake the bag vigorously to ensure the fillets are completely covered by the marinade.
- 15. Place the bag in the refrigerator.
- 16. Let the fillets marinate for at least three hours.
- 17. Remove the pork fillets from the marinade.
- 18. Let the excess marinade drip off the fillets.
- 19. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- 20. Lightly oil the grill surface.
- 21. Place the fillets on the grill.
- 22. Grill the fillets all around for about 15 minutes.
- 23. Turn the fillets regularly while grilling.
- 24. Extend the grilling time slightly if necessary.
- 25. Wrap the cooked fillets in aluminum foil.
- 26. Let the fillets rest for five minutes.
- 27. Slice the fillets only after resting.
