  4. 4. Heat the pot over high heat.
  5. 5. Let the spinach wilt down.
  6. 6. Transfer the spinach into a colander.
  7. 7. Allow the liquid to drain off.
  8. 8. Chop the spinach finely.
  9. 9. Peel the garlic.
  10. 10. Peel the shallot.
  11. 11. Finely chop the garlic and shallot.
  12. 12. Heat some oil in a pan.
  13. 13. Sauté the vegetables in it.
  14. 14. Add the raisins.
  15. 15. Let the raisins sweat briefly.
  16. 16. Add the chopped spinach to the pan.
  17. 17. Season the mixture with salt.
  18. 18. Season the mixture with pepper.
  19. 19. Season the mixture with nutmeg.
  20. 20. Rinse the sardines under running water.
