  5. 5. Cut the meat into large chunks.
  6. 6. Rinse the shrimp under running water.
  7. 7. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
  8. 8. Thread alternating pieces of meat and shrimp onto the wooden skewers.
  9. 9. Peel the garlic cloves.
  10. 10. Press the garlic into a small bowl.
  11. 11. Add the tomato paste to the bowl.
  12. 12. Add the oil to the bowl.
  13. 13. Add the chili peppers to the bowl.
  14. 14. Add the oregano to the bowl.
  15. 15. Add the salt to the bowl.
  16. 16. Add the pepper to the bowl.
  17. 17. Mix all the marinade ingredients well together.
  18. 18. Brush the skewers with the marinade.
  19. 19. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
  20. 20. Grill the skewers all around for 6 to 8 minutes.
