🍽️ Grilled Marinated Lamb Leg

Ingredients
- 1 leg of lamb (approx. 1,5 kg, kitchen-ready boneless)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp yogurt
- 2 tbsp chopped thyme
- 2 tbsp chopped rosemary
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the lamb leg under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 4. Finely chop the garlic.
- 5. Add some salt to the chopped garlic.
- 6. Mash the garlic-salt mixture into a fine paste using the flat side of a knife.
- 7. Mix the garlic paste with the yogurt.
- 8. Add the herbs to the yogurt-garlic mixture.
- 9. Coat the lamb leg thoroughly with the marinade.
- 10. Wrap the marinated leg in cling film.
- 11. Place the foil-wrapped leg in the refrigerator overnight.
- 12. Thread the lamb leg onto a grill skewer.
- 13. Wrap kitchen twine around the meat to secure it to the skewer.
- 14. Season the lamb leg with salt to taste.
- 15. Season the lamb leg with pepper to taste.
- 16. Grill the leg for 50 to 60 minutes.
