  2. 2. Remove the core and seeds from the pepper halves.
  3. 3. Rinse the peppers thoroughly.
  4. 4. Pat the pepper halves dry with a kitchen towel.
  5. 5. Cut the goat cheese into small cubes.
  6. 6. Wash the cherry tomatoes.
  7. 7. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
  8. 8. Wash the basil leaves.
  9. 9. Shake the basil dry to remove excess water.
  10. 10. Chop the basil leaves into coarse strips.
  11. 11. Place the cubed goat cheese, halved tomatoes, and basil into a bowl.
  12. 12. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste.
  13. 13. Stir some oil into the mixture.
  14. 14. Add some lemon juice to the filling and mix everything well.
  15. 15. Fill the pepper halves with the cheese and tomato mixture.
  16. 16. Secure the stuffed pepper halves together with toothpicks so they do not open.
  17. 17. Preheat the grill.
  18. 18. Place the peppers on the hot grill.
  19. 19. Use aluminum foil on the grill grate if necessary.
