🍽️ Spicy Marinated Grilled Chicken Pieces

Ingredients
- 1 ready-to-cook chicken
- 1 lemon
- pepper (from the mill)
- salt
- 1 ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- 350 g yogurt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 0.5 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Break the chicken down into 6 to 8 pieces.
- 2. Score the surface of the meat pieces about 0.5 centimeters deep with a knife.
- 3. Place the chicken pieces in a shallow baking dish.
- 4. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 5. Pour lemon juice over the pieces.
- 6. Let the meat marinate for about 30 minutes.
- 7. Peel the ginger and the garlic clove.
- 8. Grate the ginger finely into a small bowl.
- 9. Press the garlic through a garlic press directly into the bowl with the ginger.
- 10. Mix the yogurt with all the other spices for the marinade.
- 11. Add the ginger-garlic mixture to the yogurt marinade and mix everything well.
- 12. Generously coat the chicken pieces with the marinade.
- 13. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- 14. Marinate the poultry for 8 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- 15. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 16. Place a sheet of aluminum foil on the grill rack.
- 17. Place the marinated chicken pieces on the foil.
- 18. Serve the grilled pieces with, for example, a tomato dip.
