🍽️ Grilled Chicken Skewers with Fried Potatoes

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 200 g white beans (washed and well drained)
- 100 g beans
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 0.5 bunch basil
- 2 bell peppers
- olive oil
- 500 g potatoes (cooked)
- 2 tbsp thyme (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- 1 tsp honey
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the green beans.
- 2. Trim the ends of the beans.
- 3. Bring water to a boil and add some salt.
- 4. Boil the beans for about 5 minutes.
- 5. Make sure the beans remain very firm to the bite.
- 6. Wash the peppers.
- 7. Cut the peppers in half.
- 8. Remove the inside with the seeds.
- 9. Slice the pepper flesh into strips.
- 10. Heat about 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
- 11. Sauté the beans and peppers in the pan.
- 12. Add the garlic.
- 13. Deglaze the mixture with balsamic vinegar.
- 14. Add the broth.
- 15. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 16. Season the sauce with salt.
- 17. Add the honey.
- 18. Season with pepper.
- 19. Stir in the basil.
- 20. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 21. Let the sauce cool down slightly.
- 22. Peel the potatoes.
- 23. Cut the potatoes into cubes.
- 24. Heat oil in a pan.
- 25. Fry the potato cubes slowly in the hot oil.
- 26. Fry the potatoes for about 8 to 10 minutes.
- 27. Turn the potatoes until they are golden brown.
- 28. Season the potatoes with salt.
- 29. Season the potatoes with pepper.
- 30. Wash the chicken.
- 31. Pat the meat dry.
- 32. Slice the meat into pieces about 2 centimeters thick.
- 33. Thread the meat onto wooden skewers.
- 34. Season the skewers with thyme.
- 35. Season the skewers with salt.
- 36. Season the skewers with pepper.
- 37. Drizzle the skewers with a little oil.
- 38. Preheat the grill.
- 39. Grill the skewers on both sides.
- 40. Turn the skewers repeatedly.
- 41. Grill the skewers for about 4 to 6 minutes.
- 42. Place the cooled bean and pepper mixture onto the grilled skewers.
- 43. Place the skewers on top of the fried potato cubes.
- 44. Serve the dish with the bean salad.
