🍽️ Grilled Chicken Breast with Yogurt Dip

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets (approx. 140 g each)
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
- 0.5 tsp chili powder
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 shallot
- 2 handfuls mint
- 1 untreated lemon
- 300 g yogurt
- salt
- white pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken under cold water and pat it completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Peel the garlic clove and press it directly into the oil.
- 3. Stir the honey, balsamic vinegar, paprika powder, chili flakes, and pepper well into the oil-garlic mixture.
- 4. Brush the chicken breast with this marinade.
- 5. Let the meat marinate covered for about 15 minutes.
- 6. Peel the shallot and cut it into very small cubes.
- 7. Rinse the mint, shake it dry, and pick the leaves off the stems.
- 8. Wash the lemon hot and dry it off.
- 9. Grate about one teaspoon of the lemon zest.
- 10. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
- 11. Mix half of the lemon juice with the mint leaves and the shallot cubes.
- 12. Stir the remaining lemon juice and the lemon zest into the yogurt.
- 13. Season the yogurt mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 14. Let the meat drain off the marinade.
- 15. Grill the chicken on the preheated grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- 16. Lightly salt the meat at the end.
- 17. Serve the chicken drizzled with the yogurt mixture and sprinkled with fresh mint.
