🍽️ Grilled Meatball Skewers and Chicken Kebab with Onions

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 bunch parsley
- 100 g feta
- 2 bell peppers
- 600 g minced meat
- 2 tbsp quark
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 0.5 tsp mustard
- 2 tbsp parmesan
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 lemon
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 pinch cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 600 g turkey breast fillet
- 2 red onions
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and dice it finely.
- 2. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 3. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
- 4. Chop the parsley finely.
- 5. Cut the feta cheese into 24 small cubes.
- 6. Wash the bell peppers.
- 7. Halve the bell peppers.
- 8. Remove the seeds from the bell peppers.
- 9. Cut each half into 6 pieces.
- 10. Mix the minced meat with the quark.
- 11. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 12. Add the mustard to the meat mixture.
- 13. Fold in the chopped parsley.
- 14. Add the diced onion.
- 15. Add the chopped garlic.
- 16. Add the parmesan.
- 17. Wrap each feta cube with the meat mixture.
- 18. Form small balls from the mixture.
- 19. Thread the meatballs and pepper pieces alternately onto the skewers.
- 20. Brush the skewers with oil.
- 21. Grill the skewers for about 10 to 12 minutes.
- 22. Turn the skewers frequently.
- 23. Peel the red onion.
- 24. Chop the red onion very finely.
- 25. Grate the lemon zest.
- 26. Squeeze the lemon juice.
- 27. Mix the finely chopped onion with the thyme.
- 28. Add the oregano.
- 29. Add the cinnamon.
- 30. Add the tomato paste.
- 31. Add the oil.
- 32. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
- 33. Add the lemon juice.
- 34. Add the lemon zest.
- 35. Mix the marinade well together.
- 36. Cut the chicken breast into cubes.
- 37. Mix the chicken cubes with the marinade.
- 38. Cover the bowl.
- 39. Let the meat marinate for about 3 hours.
- 40. Peel the red onions.
- 41. Cut the red onions lengthwise into wedges.
- 42. Drain the meat.
- 43. Brush the onions with the drained marinade.
- 44. Thread the meat and onions alternately onto the skewers.
- 45. Grill the skewers for 10 to 12 minutes.
- 46. Turn the skewers frequently.
