🍽️ Feta Meatballs from the Grill

Ingredients
- 600 g Veal mince
- 1 Shallot (finely chopped)
- 1 Garlic clove (finely chopped)
- 1 Stale roll
- Breadcrumbs
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Marjoram leaves (chopped)
- 1 tbsp hot mustard
- 1 tbsp Ketchup
- 200 g Feta (cubed)
- Oil (for frying and brushing)
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Soak bread rolls in lukewarm water.
- 2. Sauté shallots and garlic in 1 tbsp oil.
- 3. Add chopped parsley and marjoram.
- 4. Let the mixture cool down slightly.
- 5. Squeeze the soaked bread.
- 6. Mix the cooled vegetables with eggs, bread, paprika, mustard, and ketchup.
- 7. Knead the mixture into the minced meat.
- 8. If necessary, add more breadcrumbs until the dough is moldable.
- 9. Season the dough generously with salt and pepper.
- 10. Form small balls from the meat.
- 11. Flatten the balls.
- 12. Fill each ball with a cube of feta cheese.
- 13. Reshape the meat dough around the feta into a ball.
- 14. Thread the balls onto wooden skewers.
- 15. Brush the skewers with some oil.
- 16. Grill the skewers for approx. 8-10 minutes.
- 17. Turn the skewers several times while grilling.
