🍽️ Chili Shrimp Skewers from the Grill

Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 untreated lime (juice)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 700 g shrimp (pre-cooked, peeled and deveined)
- 4 untreated limes (cut into wedges)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your grill to the desired heat level.
- 2. Peel the garlic cloves from their skin.
- 3. Rinse the chili peppers under running water.
- 4. Cut the chilies lengthwise down the middle into two halves.
- 5. Remove the seeds and white pith from the chili halves.
- 6. Finely chop the deseeded chilies and the garlic together.
- 7. Pour the lime juice and oil mixture into a bowl.
- 8. Stir the chopped chili-garlic mixture into the liquid.
- 9. Season the marinade with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 10. Rinse the shrimp under cold water.
- 11. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel or paper napkin.
- 12. Mix the dry shrimp thoroughly with the prepared marinade.
- 13. Let the shrimp marinate for 30 minutes.
- 14. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the wooden skewers.
- 15. Place the skewers on the hot grill grate.
- 16. Grill the shrimp for 5 to 6 minutes.
- 17. Turn the skewers once during the grilling process.
- 18. Cut limes into wedges or corners for the side dish.
- 19. Arrange the finished skewers on a serving plate.
- 20. Serve the skewers together with the lime wedges.
