Ingredients
- 24 shrimp
- 4 corn on the cob (can)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 500 g potatoes (waxy)
- oil (for frying)
- paprika powder
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp oil
Instructions
- 1. Brush the corn cob with melted butter.
- 2. Lightly salt the corn.
- 3. Grill the corn for about 10 minutes.
- 4. Turn the corn occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- 5. Peel the potatoes for the french fries.
- 6. Cut the potatoes into sticks.
- 7. Blanch the potato sticks briefly in hot water.
- 8. Shock the potatoes by placing them in cold water.
- 9. Thoroughly pat the potato sticks dry.
- 10. Fry the potato sticks in hot oil until golden brown.
- 11. The frying time is about 4 to 5 minutes.
- 12. Let the french fries drain on kitchen paper.
- 13. Sprinkle the french fries with salt and paprika powder.
- 14. Peel the shrimp, leaving the tail segment on.
- 15. Devein the shrimp.
- 16. Rinse the shrimp under running water.
- 17. Pat the shrimp dry.
- 18. Whisk soy sauce, honey, and oil in a bowl.
- 19. Toss the shrimp in the marinade.
- 20. Let the shrimp marinate covered for about 1 hour.
- 21. Grill the shrimp for about 2 minutes per side.
- 22. Arrange everything on a platter.
- 23. Serve the shrimp and fries with various salads.
- 24. Add a dip on the side.
