  1. 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet.
  3. 3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  4. 4. Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
  5. 5. Cut a small lid off the top of each potato using a sharp knife.
  6. 6. Carefully scoop out the inside of the potatoes using a small spoon.
  7. 7. Make sure to leave a rim of potato skin about 5 millimeters thick.
  8. 8. Mash the scooped-out potato flesh with a fork.
  9. 9. Mix the mashed potato flesh with butter and cheese.
  10. 10. Wash the chives under cold water.
  11. 11. Shake the chives dry.
  12. 12. Finely chop the chives.
  13. 13. Stir the chopped chives into the potato mixture.
  14. 14. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  15. 15. Fill the potato-cheese mixture back into the empty potato skins.
  16. 16. Place the cut-off lids back on top of the filled potatoes.
  17. 17. Wrap each potato individually in aluminum foil.
  18. 18. Preheat the grill and set it to medium-low heat.
  19. 19. Place the wrapped potatoes on the grill.
  20. 20. Grill the potatoes for about 10 minutes.
  21. 21. Turn the potatoes frequently during the grilling time.
  22. 22. Remove the potatoes from the grill as soon as they are heated through.
