🍽️ Grilled Fish Patties

Ingredients
- 2 tomatoes
- 80 g toast bread
- 150 ml hot milk
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 shallots
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g cod fillet
- 100 g tiger prawns (peeled and deveined, ready for cooking)
- breadcrumbs (as needed)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes.
- 2. Immediately shock the tomatoes with cold water.
- 3. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 4. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
- 5. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes.
- 6. Dice the tomatoes finely.
- 7. Soak the toast bread in the milk.
- 8. Wash the chili pepper.
- 9. Remove the stem and seeds of the chili pepper.
- 10. Finely chop the chili pepper.
- 11. Finely chop the fish fillet.
- 12. Finely chop the prawns.
- 13. Peel the shallots.
- 14. Finely chop the shallots.
- 15. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 16. Sauté the shallots in the hot oil until translucent.
- 17. Add the shallots to the chopped fish.
- 18. Add the eggs to the fish mixture.
- 19. Add the coriander to the mixture.
- 20. Squeeze the milk out of the soaked bread.
- 21. Add the squeezed bread to the mixture.
- 22. Add the diced tomatoes to the mixture.
- 23. Add the chopped chili to the mixture.
- 24. Mix all ingredients well.
- 25. Add breadcrumbs if necessary.
- 26. Season the mixture with salt.
- 27. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 28. Form small balls from the mixture.
- 29. Brush the balls with oil.
- 30. Place the balls on the grill.
- 31. Grill the balls for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- 32. Grill the balls until golden brown.
