🍽️ Herbed Cevapcici from the Grill

Ingredients
- 1 stale rolls
- 7 red shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- olive oil
- 600 g ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- thyme
Instructions
- 1. Soak the bread roll in lukewarm water.
- 2. Peel the shallot and the garlic cloves.
- 3. Finely chop the shallot and garlic.
- 4. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan.
- 5. Sauté the onion mixture until translucent.
- 6. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 7. Let the mixture cool down.
- 8. Squeeze the soaked bread roll well.
- 9. Mix the minced meat with the egg.
- 10. Add the squeezed bread roll.
- 11. Add the cooled onion mixture.
- 12. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- 13. Knead everything into a homogeneous dough.
- 14. Form small rolls from the meat mixture.
- 15. Peel the remaining shallots.
- 16. Halve or quarter the shallots lengthwise.
- 17. Grease a grill pan.
- 18. Place the meat rolls, shallots, and thyme in the pan.
- 19. Place the pan on the hot grill.
- 20. Cook the cevapcici slowly, turning them, until golden brown.
