🍽️ Grilled Banana and Chicken Skewers

Ingredients
- 800 g chicken breast fillet
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 bananas
- 2 red onions
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Soak the wooden skewers (4 small or 8 large) in water for about 30 minutes to prevent them from burning.
- 2. Wash the chicken breast fillets and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the chicken meat into small, bite-sized cubes.
- 4. Mix the soy sauce with the oil, turmeric, thyme, and pepper in a bowl.
- 5. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and place them in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- 6. Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds about 1 cm thick.
- 7. Peel the onions and cut them into large chunks.
- 8. Thread the marinated meat cubes, banana slices, and onion chunks alternately onto the skewers.
- 9. Grill the skewers on the hot grill, turning them occasionally, until they are done after 8 to 10 minutes.
- 10. Season the skewers with salt at the end and serve immediately.
